Live Patient and Treatment Team Perspectives!

 

This program is intended for patients and caregivers. Join us as Dr. Neal Hermanowicz, Health Sciences Clinical Professor of Neurology and Director of the Movement Disorders Program, University of California, Irvine, Department of Neurology talks about the use of Duopa how it is used to treat advanced Parkinson's disease. A Duopa patient will also be attending to share his/her personal journey and answer any questions.

Does Parkinson's disease affect your daily activities? Do you sometimes stumble, have a difficult time graspoing objects, feel stiff or too tired to enjoy even a simple walk? In this weekend retreat, learn new ways to manage the symptoms of Parkinson's disease. Presented by Avera Therapy, Living Well with Parkinson's Disease: New Approaches will be held on Friday, September 28th & Sunday, September 30th at the Abbey of the Hills in Marvin, SD.
