2021 Petals for Parkinson's

SDPF kicked off the New Year with their annual Petals for Parkinson's fundraiser event. Online sales opened on January 15th and will run through the month of March 2021. We will have all tulip arrangements ready for pick-up at Landscape Garden Centers in Sioux Falls before the Easter holiday (week of March 29th - April 2nd).

During these uncertain times of living in a world surrounded by Covid-19 health and safety concerns we have had to find new and creative ways to stay connected to our loved ones since seeing many of them face-to-face has not been an option. It's been hard on all of us and we feel the Petals for Parkinson's event is coming at the perfect time...a time to focus on brighter days and to send springtime cheer to family and friends. It's a way to let people know we are here for them, thinking about them, and hoping that very soon we can all be together and see our smiling faces and enjoy being in each other's presence.

So this year you will have the option to either pick up your tulip arrangement from Landscape Garden Centers or you can donate a tulip arrangement to an assisted living center here in the Sioux Falls area. And if you have a loved one at one of the designated locations you can simply write down their name and room number and we will be making special deliveries to these facilities.

We would also like to extend an invite to outside local communities. Do you have a local business in your town that you think would you like to participate in this event...we have the perfect way to do this. We are searching for businesses of all kinds to sponsor any number of tulip arrangements for their local assisted living center/nursing home. We will then need a group of volunteers that are able/willing to load up their vehicles and help bring these beautiful arrangements to your town.
