Petals for Parkinson's
1 Perennial Tulip arrangement purchase can
Why the Tulip?
The tulip has been associated with Parkinson’s Awareness since 1980 when J.W.S. Van der Wereld, a Dutch horticulturalist who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, developed a red & white tulip to honor Dr. James Parkinson, the doctor who first described the disease.
The South Dakota Parkinson Foundation (SDPF) and Landscape Garden Centers have partnered together to help raise awareness about Parkinson's disease and spread some springtime cheer by selling beautiful potted tulip arrangements. SDPF would like to THANK YOU for your support. Proceeds remain within the state of SD to support individuals living with Parkinson’s, their families, care partners and the Parkinson's community.
